The OPJIT owes its presence to the urgent need of providing a steady flow of professionals for the development of the industries of CG and the country at large. With the advent of the new millennium, students starting their careers are facing new challenges. Traditional courses and contents are no longer able to fulfill the aspirations of the youth in the global competitive market. Incorporating the industry requirements and use of modern teaching / learning methodologies to impart the knowledge are the key to success.

          Although the courses are designed primarily by the university, our inputs to the students have been engineered out of extensive research and industry feedback. No doubt the students will feel at home with real life industry situation once they are recruited by the respective employers.
